Learning Lab

The Nursing Media Lab (HP246) and Nursing Learning Labs (HP234 & HP239) are available to the Nursing Majors for studying, research, skill acquisition, and application exercises/simulation. Here, our Nursing Majors learn the basic to the advanced skills and knowledge needed to care for clients in the hospital and in the community. The Learning Lab is set up as a hospital room providing students a nearly realistic environment. Manikins, models, and simulators are used throughout the Nursing Program to advance student’s critical thinking skills. Plans for another Learning Lab to be built just outside the Nursing building are proceeding. This lab will be equipped with the latest computer and video systems.
