Part-Time Faculty Positions

Cal State San Bernardino has expanded its BSN programs and is in need of qualified clinical and didactic faculty for a number of upcoming courses. Part Time Instructor Positions are available to Baccalaureate prepared Registered Nurses, for hire on a quarter-by-quarter basis. Applicants with a Master's in Nursing are strongly preferred, however applicants with a BSN will be considered. Nurse Practitioners who meet the qualifications are welcomed to apply. Candidates must possess and exercise the degree of learning, skill, care and experience ordinarily possessed and exercised by staff level registered nurses of the clinical unit to which the instructor is assigned (BRN 2002). In addition, the candidate must have at least one year of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse, as well as recent experience within the last five years, in one or more of the following specialty areas: Community Health, Geriatrics, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal-Child Nursing, Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing, or Pediatric Nursing. Salary: Dependant on qualifications and experience.
