High School Student (New Grad)
Outstanding High School graduates may earn guaranteed admission to the generic, undergraduate Nursing major prior to completion of one term/year in college.
Criteria are based on the campus Honors Program application requirements:
1. High School GPA of 3.5 in academic courses and;
2. 1100 or higher on the SAT I (critical reading and math) or 26 or higher on the ACT and;
3. Top 10% of High School Graduating Class

ADVISING
Students must attend an academic advising session each
quarter upon entering the university. Times and days
information is available in the Nursing office.
IMPORTANT
Students who graduate High School in June and begin CSUSB in the Fall of the same year must apply (show documentation of the above criteria) to the Department of Nursing by 12 noon on the 1st of December following that Fall admission in order for the department to verify data and send a letter of acceptance.
Documentation consists of official High School transcripts and a copy of the SAT/ACT score. Students who receive an invitation to join the campus Honors Program should submit it. SAT/ACT scores listed on official transcript may substitute for a separate copy.
Students that graduate from High School at different times or start college late may be eligible on a different schedule.
Students must take the ATI TEAS admission test by the Fall admission deadline March 1st. Testing dates will be available between January 1st - March 1st.
Student must successfully complete the 9 prerequisite requirements/courses by June. May substitute AP credit
Students who do not complete these requirements may apply through the regular admission process.
